I've been using it a lot lately because it is lighter and has a significantly better battery than my 6 year old iPad Pro, though I do not have a keyboard for the mini. I downloaded the most recent version of MS Remote Desktop the App Store will give me from my Purchase history and I can connect to my PC w/ Windows 11 Pro and use it as kind of a lightweight tablet PC. So I am curious, for those who still have this version of iPad & IOS what apps do you still use with it? Zoom - I just discovered it today (2022.06.21) and yes, you can still download the latest version.

Spotify - I use the “compatible version” from the purchase.

Their feature “get documents from any device” is useful.

Polaris Office - I sometimes view some files.

Not sure if other messaging apps can compete with them on this.

Telegram - you will still get their latest updates, tho sometimes it lags, but very usable.

I also use most of the time to play something I repeatedly watch on Youtube. I was able to watch a movie at 123moviefree.sc and it was as if the ads do not work with this version of iPad or browser.

Puffin Browser - awesomely fast than expected.

I use my iPad mini 1 mainly to watch downloaded videos.

VLC - I cannot stress enough how much I love VLC! They seem to be compatible on any device.

I got a newer iPad but I still use my first iPad mini 1 from time to time so that my newer iPad‘s battery won’t wear out that easily.
